About Me:
My name is Jeff Singer. With a decade of professional baseball experience, ranging from independent leagues to the Leagues, I have learned both the easy and hard ways to fulfill my dream of playing professional baseball, focusing on on-field training and mental skills. During my off-seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies, I trained and coached local players aged 10 to 25. I enjoyed seeing players succeed on and off the field, achieving personal goals. As I witnessed my clients exceed their own expectations, my passion for training and coaching grew. My professional experience and unique approach will provide the traction necessary for athletes to hit the ground running. I work closely with each trainee to help them achieve their individual athletic goals. I push them, but I also motivate them. Early on, I identify what each client is capable of, with the goal of helping them reach and then exceed that potential. I am excited to build new relationships with more players and watch them achieve their aspirations.
Why the name 1-1 Pitching?
At 1-1 Pitching, we believe the 1-1 count is the most important in the game. Statistically, it’s a turning point: if a pitcher throws a ball, the hitter’s average jumps significantly. But if a strike is thrown, the average drops into the low hundreds—putting the pitcher firmly in control. We train our athletes to compete pitch by pitch and learn how to #WinTheCount.
